description This article aims to analyze the strategies that could (or could not) be implemented by public universities in Argentina to reduce the digital divide within their educational communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research focuses on the analysis of the policies and actions developed by the National University of Salta (UNSa), the National University of Rafaela (UNRaf), and the National University of the Arts (UNA) in the period between April 2020 and December 2021. A series of questions are proposed to guide the inquiry, in order to problematize the transformations that took place in the field of higher education during a context of exceptionality and the possible responses that the institutions have developed: have they implemented strategies to address the problems related to Internet connectivity of the people who are part of their educational communities?, have they provided electronic equipment to those people who did not have devices to guarantee the continuity of their study and work activities?, have they provided training aimed at providing tools for education in virtual environments?, have they developed articulations with other educational institutions, professionals, public entities, companies to address the situation?

La indagación se enfoca en el análisis de las políticas y acciones que desarrollaron la Universidad Nacional de Salta (UNSa), la Universidad Nacional de Rafaela (UNRaf) y la Universidad Nacional de las Artes (UNA) en el período comprendido entre abril de 2020 y diciembre de 2021. Se propone una serie de interrogantes que orientan la indagación, para problematizar acerca de las transformaciones que tuvieron lugar en el ámbito de la educación superior durante un contexto de excepcionalidad y las posibles respuestas que las instituciones han desarrollado: ¿han implementado estrategias para abordar las problemáticas vinculadas a la conectividad a internet de las personas que integran sus comunidades educativas?, ¿han entregado equipamiento electrónico a aquellas personas que no contaban con dispositivos para garantizar la continuidad de sus actividades de estudio y laborales?, ¿se realizaron capacitaciones destinadas a brindar herramientas para la educación en entornos virtuales?, ¿han desarrollado articulaciones con otras instituciones educativas, profesionales, entidades públicas, empresas para abordar la situación?Este artigo tem como objetivo descrever e analisar as estratégias que as universidades públicas da Argentina conseguiram implementar (ou não) para reduzir a exclusão digital em suas comunidades educacionais durante a pandemia da COVID-19. A reflexão se concentra na análise das políticas e ações desenvolvidas pela Universidade Nacional de Salta (UNSa), pela Universidade Nacional de Rafaela (UNRaf) e pela Universidade Nacional das Artes (UNA) no período entre abril de 2020 e dezembro de 2021. Propõe-se uma série de perguntas para orientar a reflexão, a fim de problematizar as transformações ocorridas no campo da educação superior em um contexto de excepcionalidade e as possíveis respostas que as instituições desenvolveram: foram implementadas estratégias para abordar os problemas relacionados à conectividade com a Internet das pessoas que compõem suas comunidades educacionais? Foram entregues equipamentos eletrônicos para as pessoas que não dispunham de dispositivos para garantir a continuidade de suas atividades de estudo e trabalho? Foi dado treinamento destinado a oferecer ferramentas para a educação em ambientes virtuais?
