Several important aspects are contrasted, such as vibration periods, percentage of participating mass, design spectrum, deformation and various forces, such as static and dynamic basal shear force, in addition to maximum design forces, such as moment bending, shear and axial force.Using the Etabs v.20 software to model the structures, significant variations in the results were observed when applying the standards according to the year 2003 and 2018. It is relevant to note that the 2018 regulations produce intermediate results in terms of modal periods for both. structures, both in static and dynamic analysis. In summary, it is shown that changes in regulations have a notable influence on the design and seismic response of structures, especially those with irregularities, and it is essential to take these aspects into account when carrying out structural analysis and design.

Este estudio se realiza en el contexto de estructuras de muros estructurales destinadas para un Centro Educativo ubicado en la ciudad de La Libertad. Se contrastan varios aspectos importantes, como los períodos de vibración, el porcentaje de masa participativa, el espectro de diseño, la deformación y diversas fuerzas, tales como la fuerza cortante basal estática y dinámica, además de las fuerzas máximas de diseño, como el momento flector, el cortante y la fuerza axial.Utilizando el software Etabs v.20 para modelar las estructuras, se observaron variaciones significativas en los resultados al aplicar las normas según el año del 2003 y 2018. Es relevante señalar que la normativa de 2018 produce resultados intermedios en cuanto a los períodos modales para ambas estructuras, tanto en el análisis estático como en el dinámico. En síntesis, se demuestra que las modificaciones en la normativa tienen una influencia notable en el diseño y la respuesta sísmica de las estructuras, especialmente en aquellas con irregularidades, y es fundamental tener en cuenta estos aspectos al llevar a cabo análisis y diseño estructural.A análise comparativa centra-se na investigação das discrepâncias entre os regulamentos E.030 de 2003 e 2018 em relação ao design anti-sísmico. Este estudo é realizado no contexto de estruturas estruturais de parede destinadas a um Centro Educacional localizado na cidade de La Libertad. Vários aspectos importantes são contrastados, como períodos de vibração, porcentagem de massa participante, espectro de projeto, deformação e forças diversas, como força cortante basal estática e dinâmica, além de forças máximas de projeto, como momento fletor, cisalhante e força axial.Utilizando o software Etabs v.20 para modelar as estruturas, foram observadas variações significativas nos resultados ao aplicar as normas de acordo com o ano de 2003 e 2018. É relevante notar que a regulamentação de 2018 produz resultados intermediários em termos de períodos modais para ambos. estruturas, tanto em análise estática como dinâmica.
