| description | The article falls within the field of ideological criticism and reflects on the link between childhood figures and the fantasy of merit. For this, it takes into account scenes of political communication and information production that circulated between 2015 and 2021 in Argentina. In this inquiry, the notion of fantasies (social and ideological) becomes central, since it allows to account for the ways of ideological functioning of the narratives selected for its approach. In the first part of the article we work on the central concepts: childhood, merit and ideology from a critical perspective. Then, the term fantasies is introduced alongside with its operation within the analytical strategy framework. In the third part, the analysis and interpretation of the selected scenes is presented. Finally, a series of final considerations are introduced about the way in which the ideological and its implications operate. |

Para ello toma en cuenta escenas de la comunicación política y de la producción informativa que circularon entre 2015 y 2021 en Argentina. En esta indagación, la noción de fantasías (sociales e ideológicas) se torna central, dado que permite dar cuenta de los modos de funcionamiento ideológico de las narraciones seleccionadas para su abordaje. En la primera parte del artículo se trabaja sobre los conceptos centrales: infancia, mérito e ideología en una perspectiva crítica. Luego se da cuenta del término fantasías y su operatividad en el marco de la estrategia analítica. En la tercera parte, se presenta el análisis y la interpretación de las escenas seleccionadas. Por último, se exponen una serie de consideraciones finales acerca del modo en que opera lo ideológico y sus implicancias.O artigo insere-se no campo da crítica ideológica e reflete sobre o vínculo entre as figuras da infância e a fantasia do mérito. Para isso, leva em conta cenas de comunicação política e produção de informação que circularam entre 2015 e 2021 na Argentina. Nesta investigação, a noção de fantasias (sociais e ideológicas) torna-se central, uma vez que permite dar conta dos modos de funcionamento ideológico das narrativas selecionadas para a sua abordagem. Na primeira parte do artigo trabalhamos os conceitos centrais: infância, mérito e ideologia numa perspectiva crítica. Então ele percebe o termo fantasias e sua operação no quadro da estratégia analítica. Na terceira parte, é apresentada a análise e interpretação das cenas selecionadas.
