| Summary: | This article presents research on public communication practices developed by a group of rural workers gathered in the Union of Tareferos of Misiones, Argentina, which articulates communication, politics and agricultural work. The article discusses the potential Pierre Bourdieu’s theoretical contributions, in particular the notions of field and habitus, to build he object of study. It starts by describing the yerba mate field as a whole to focus on the sub-field of yerba mate harvest workers and, in particular, it focuses on the analysis of the communication practices of an organization. |
