| Whakarāpopototanga: | Teaching the Nursing Care Process and it´s articulation with practice experience has been and it still is a study reason in nursing´s discipline. This study focuses on how the Nursing Care Process is taught in the Nursing Career at a private university of Montevideo city. The objective was to inquire in the professor´s training and practice to teach this tool. A qualitative design was applied. Methodology consisted in interviewing and observing six professors who taught “nursing”. These professorswere chosen since they were teaching during the period in which the study was carried. Quality wise, the study focused on finding patterns commonly used among theprofessors. In order to achieve this, both techniques, interviewing and observing, were combined. Results show how difficult it is to teach the Nursing Care Process as well as it´s enforcement in the asistencial area. |
