We could identifythe main difficulties that young people perceived were those related to food. |

Metodología: Se trata de un estudio cualitativo, del tipo exploratorio descriptivo. Se entrevistaron 25 adolescentes de edades comprendidas entre 10 y 19 años en Montevideo y Maldonado, Uruguay. Las técnicas de recolección de datos utilizadas fueron la entrevista en profundidad, notas de campo interpretativas y la revisión de la historia clínica o carné del adolescente. Resultados: Se encontraron factores incidentes en la adherencia al tratamiento asociados a todos los pilares del mismo, incluyendo los aspectos psicosociales y de automonitoreo. Los jóvenes destacaron el efecto positivo que ejerce el apoyo recibido por parte de sus familiares,de sus amigos y del equipo de salud. Conclusiones: A través de lo relatado por los jóvenespudimos concluir que, en el grupo estudiado, no solo los factores personales tienen incidencia en la adherencia al tratamiento, sino que también influyen aquellosrelacionados con la familia, el entorno social y medioambiental.Se pudo identificar que las principales dificultades que los jóvenes percibieron fueron aquellasasociadas a la alimentación.Objetivo: Conhecer os fatores que incidem na aderência ao tratamento desde a perspectiva de adolescentes com Diabetes tipo 1. Metodologia: E Um estudo qualitativo, do tipo exploratorio descritivo. Foram entrevistados 25 adolescentes entre 10 e 19 anos de Montevidéu e Maldonado, Uruguai. As técnicas de recopilação de dados foram notas do campo interpretativo e a revisão da historia clínica do adolescente. Resultados: Se acharam fatores incidentes na aderência ao tratamento associados a todos, incluindo os aspectos psicosocias e de automonitoreio. Dentro de estes fatores, os jovens destacaram positivamente o apoio do seus familiares, dos seus amigos e da equipe medica. Conclusões: Através do relato dos jovens se conclui que não só os fatores pessoais incidem na aderência ao tratamento senão que também influem aqueles relacionados com as famílias, o emtorno social e meio ambiente.
