It explores how globalization and economic interdependence increase the complexity of economic crimes, and how key Frankfurt School concepts —such as instrumental rationality, alienation, and domination— can be applied to gain a deeper understanding of these crimes. The study includes a literature review, critical analysis, and case studies to explore the power structures influencing the regulation and practice of economic criminal law. It also considers future perspectives and the challenges facing economic criminal law in an increasingly globalized and interconnected world. |
