The delicatevalvular mechanism of the deep inguinal ring is themost important anti-herniary factor. When it fails, the habitationof the congenital peritoneal diverticulum takesplace. A technical system of fascio-ligamentary repair ofindirec inguinal hernia has been developed based on thisconcept. This method has been used for three years inmore than a hundred patients, with very good results. |
