El me•canismo valvular determinado por la fascla transversa•lis a nivel del pilar interno es una estructura funcional ybiomecánica de gran precisión y complejidad. Su frece•so, sea congénito o adquirido, es la llave que permite laapertura del orificio y la habitación del divertículo peri•toneal.
