The patient is diseasefree and in good condition ten months aftersurgery, with a strict follow-up.Los autores presentan un raro caso deasociación lesiona! sincrónica e independientede carcinoma medular del tiroides conmetástasis ganglionares, y carcinoma de célulasde Hürthle del lóbulo tiroideo contralateral. Sedestaca la falta de referencias en la literaturarevisada de casos similares. Se describendetalladamente los pasos diagnósticos yterapéuticos seguidos con este paciente. Labibliografía consultada permitió realizar unapuesta al día de /os aspectos diagnósticos,terapéuticos y pronósticos de ambos tipos decánceres tiroideos.
