Neumothórax and pleural effusion are not considered in this group.Se analizan las indicaciones y las posibilidades tácticas de la cirugía en el tratamiento paliativo del cáncer boncopulmonar. Se define el concepto de cirugía paliativa diferenciándola de la cirugía oncológicamente incompleta, de la tioreductora y de la de las metástasis pulmonares de los cánceres no broncogénicos.Se señalan 4 indicaciones de la cirugía en esta etapa del CBP: dolor torácico, supuración pulmonar, hemoptisis grave y osteoartropatía hipertrofiante néumica.
