Partiendo del concepto de pliegue como la forma idónea para describir esta práctica, se estudia la búsqueda estética o el motor creador que comparten artistas dentro de esta corriente, encontrándolo en las relaciones que establecen entre los flujos digitales y la realidad corpórea. El live cinema quedaría determinado, no solo como un pliegue entre el lenguaje cinematográfico y nuevas formas de creación audiovisual en la era digital, sino también como una práctica enfocada en explorar nuevas posibles formas de relacionarnos con el flujo de datos digitales.O live cinema é uma prática que funde artes audiovisuais com práticas performáticas. Mesmo sendo mediada pelas novas tecnologias digitais, produz uma experiência coletiva, um momento singular, efêmero e irreproduzível. Partindo do conceito de dobra como forma ideal de descrever essa prática, estuda-se a busca estética ou o motor criativo compartilhado pelos artistas dessa corrente, encontrando-a nas relações que estabelecem entre os fluxos digitais e a realidade corporal.
