| Samenvatting: | A description is given of a familia/ group wherein alimembers shared the same dwe/ling and were sufferers ofgastritis and duodenal ulcers; members exhibited gastriccolonization by Helicobacter pylori (H.P.) the antimicrobialtreatment of which has so far attained the eradication ofthe germ and the cure of the ulcero-peptic disease. Adiscussion is carried out of the gene tic origin of thefamilia/ duodenal ulcer; a/so described are thecharacteristics of the germ (H.P.), its association with thegastroduodenal pathology, therapeutics andepidemiology. The condition traces the origin of thecurrent familia/ ailment and deals with successfu/ therapyunderlying the resolution of the pathology. |
