| Summary: | This study aims to present an integrative literature review that analyses the state of the art of research related to individual and family resilience processes and social support networks for victims of traffic accidents in the post-accident situation. PsycInfo, PubMed, Web of Science, and SciELO were used as sources for data with the descriptors: resilience; traffic-accidents; support networks and family resilience. 12 articles were found as a result of the process of reviewing. The findings demonstrate a scarcity of studies that simultaneously relate resilience, traffic accidents, support networks and family resilience. Also, the majority of research on traffic accidents is focused on prevention. This review points limitations that suggest the need of more investment on research about post-accident contexts making possible to offer support to public policies that improve the quality of life of this populations. |
