Surgery in Montevideo at the Turn of the Century. Appendicectomies and Biliary Surgery

The first appendectomies, cholecystostomies and gastro - enterostomies were performed in Uruguay in the last few years of the past century, almost ,simultaneouslywith their performance in sone European countries.
