The aim of this article was to analyze the early postoperative management of the bile duct injuries.Will be analyzed in relation whit 2 clinical cases treated in our Assistant Unit of surgical clinic.La lesión de la vía biliar en una colecistecomía determina un problema médico grave que repercute en el paciente, así como en el equipo médico actuante y expone al cirujano a una eventual reclamación civil. La mayoría de las lesiones son diagnosticadas en el posoperatorio inmediato. La demora en el diagnóstico impacta en los resultados en la reparación definitiva, así como en la morbi-mortalidad del paciente. Es así que, cuanto menor sea el tiempo transcurrido entre la lesión y el diagnóstico, mejores serán los resultados en el tratamiento definitivo, calidad de vida y pronóstico vital del paciente. A continuación, se analizará el manejo posoperatorio de la lesión de la vía biliar principal a propósito de 2 casos clínicos tratados en nuestra clínica quirúrgica.A lesão do ducto biliar durante a colecistectomia representa um problema médico grave que afeta o paciente, a equipe médica envolvida e expõe o cirurgião a potencial responsabilidade civil. A maioria das lesões é diagnosticada no período pós-operatório imediato. Atrasos no diagnóstico impactam os resultados do reparo definitivo, bem como a morbidade e a mortalidade do paciente. Portanto, quanto menor o tempo entre a lesão e o diagnóstico, melhores serão os resultados no tratamento definitivo, a qualidade de vida e o prognóstico para o paciente.
