Estas complicaciones con función de la afección y deltipo de intervención realizada. Las complicaciones se dividen en inmediatas y mediatas. Las inmediatas al acto quirúrgico pueden ser infecciosas,hemorrágicas, flebitis o intestinales. Se destaca la incidencia de estas afecciones y las maneras de efectuar su profilaxis. Las complicaciones mediatas son aquellas que estánen vinculación con el porvenir funcional del órgano o a la aparición de patología en el mismo órgano.
