The author recommends: -In surgery of benign processes of ttterus, preservation of ovaries if healthy and non atrophíc, regardless ot age. -In surgery of tubes due to fallopian pregnancies, ovaries may be preserved if no other pathology in foundthereín. -In ovarían surgery, emphasis is laid on the importance of residual ovarían pathology following abscission of benign ovarian tumors. Generally speaking incases of ovarían cysts conservative procedures are advisable when the patíent is under 40 years of age; after this, complementary radical surgery should be performedaccompanied by administration of estrogens. The paper includes discussion of the rare cases in which it is possible to act conservatively in the presence of malign ovarían tumors. |

Se destacan dentro de las funciones ováricas la acción preventiva de la arteriosclerosis y fundamentalmente las coronariopatías.Aconsejamos: -En la cirugía por procesos benignos del útero: conservar los ovarios mientras estén sanos y no sean atróficos, independientemente de la edad.-Dentro de la cirugía de trompa se destaca que en el embarazo tubario siempre se puede conservar el ovario si éste no tiene otra patología. -En la cirugía del ovario se pone énfasis en la importancia de la patología del ovario residual postextirpación de tumores benignos de ovario. De un modo general, en los quistes de ovario se aconseja ser conservadorhasta los 40 años y efectuar cirugía radical complementado con la administración de estrógenos por encima de dicha edad.
