El 99 % corresponde a cáncer de la mujer. Se estudiaron 20 casos de cáncer de mama enel hombre, comprobándose que aparece en una ·edad más tardía que en la mujer y que la consulta se realiza, ,en general, también en forma más tardía.El desconocimiento médico de la enfermedad es importante, y éste es explicable por su gran rareza.
