El trabajo se inicia con un estudio del proceso constituyente brasileño con especial interés por la Constitución de 1988 y su desarrollo democrático. Posteriormente se estudia la afectación de los poderes constitucionales de Brasil ante la firma de un acuerdo de libre comercio, incidiendo en diversas integraciones en las que ha participado este país como Mercosur o las alianzas con la Unión Europea y Estados Unidos. El artículo reflexiona sobre el crecimiento de los países de América Latina, destacando cómo los acuerdos de libre comercio se han convertido en un instrumento para desarrollar alianzas políticas internacionales. También se investigan los mecanismos de resolución de conflictos entre países y los controles jurisdiccionales en los tratados internacionales.Esta pesquisa aborda o estudo dos processos de integração do Brasil. O trabalho começa com um estudo do processo constituinte brasileiro, com especial atenção para a Constituição de 1988 e seu desenvolvimento democrático. Posteriormente, investiga-se o impacto dos poderes constitucionais do Brasil diante da assinatura de um acordo de livre comércio, enfocando diversas integrações em que o país participou, como o Mercosul ou as alianças com a União Europeia e os Estados Unidos. O artigo reflete sobre o crescimento dos países da América Latina, destacando como os acordos de livre comércio se tornaram instrumentos para desenvolver alianças políticas internacionais.
