סיכום:One of the salient features of ISDB-Tb system (Integrated Services for Digital Broadcasting Terrestrial) is the ability to transmit, using up to three hierarchical layers, multiple input streams formed by MPEG packets that arrive at the input of the transmitter with different bit rates. Since the number of packets that can be transmitted per unit of time is highly dependent on the configuration adopted for each layer, achieving their combination in a single binary output stream requires a relatively complex processing. The device that performs this task is commonly called "Remultiplexer" and the analysis of its main functions and numerical relationships that govern them are the subject of this article.
