Summary:The plastico-adherential biological response topolyetilene prosthetic meshes of the intraperitoneal Mar/etype with and without epiplum covering was studiedexperimental/y. In a short time expensive, persisten/, firmvisceral adhesions were formed as a reaction to theuncovered mesh, the covered mesh and its epipfumcovering remains clear. Results were analysed by meansof statistic tests and conclusions were presented
