El procedimiento curativo incluye la reseccióndel intestino patológico proximal y cuandose planifica una operación de Duhamel o sus modificacionestécnicas la resección distal debe incluirel recto hasta la reflexión peritoneal. La modifjcaciónde Habr-Gama es de más fácil ejecucióny han sido comunicados buenos resultadosfuncionales.
