Sumari:The purpose of this article is to measure the impact of Research & Development and Innovation, in the developing of countries, through econometric models of cross section, where the dependent variable is represented by the development index and the explanatory variables are Research & Development costs and the rate of Innovation. The results show that Innovation affects the development of countries. The biggest contribution is on economic development, followed by the social development
